There is a quote by Vincent van Gogh, “I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people” I love art but have never considered myself an artist. I am creative and I love to write, but never thought that my writing could make a difference. Loving people…is my thing. I love hard and I am loyal to a fault. I fight for what is right and I believe that kindness always wins. Looking back now I realize that this is who I am and my journey although not linear was always about bringing me here. Using my writing to make a difference. I want to use my writing to help kids find their superpowers. My dream is to write children’s books that will empower children to live authentic, fulfilled, and compassionately. I want to advocate for those most vulnerable. I want to write books that will inspire and empower children. I want to encourage children to handle adversity with patience, kindness, and compassion. I want to teach girls that they are powerful and capable of anything. I want to speak love into children that feel unlovable. I want to connect with children that think an adult could never understand. These are things I have always done in small ways, but never believed it was what I was meant to do until now.
